SWAN HELLENIC Destination Services Booking Terms

The below terms regulate individual bookings for destination services requested by you, such as pre- post cruise stay, land programs, private transport as well as special private excursion during the cruise.

For your additionally booked destination services, the following terms are intended to help you organize your bookings in advance and enjoy them well-informed during your trip. Legally, you are entering into a service and helping hand contract with SWAN HELLENIC Cruises Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "SWAN HELLENIC Cruises" or "SWAN HELLENIC").

I. Swan Hellenic local agencies liability

Swan Hellenic has carefully compiled the destination program with the collaboration of our renowned agencies in the different destinations. However, the implementation is exclusively in the hands of the local agencies who are organizer of these transfers, hotel bookings and land programs. Swan Hellenic Cruises is merely an agent in order to guarantee the highest level of service and convenience in selecting these additional services and is therefore not liable for their implementation and performance. The type and scope of the liability and accident insurance of the local agencies correspond to the respective local legislation and can therefore vary greatly and also deviate considerably from usual EU insurance standards. Swan Hellenic Cruises only works with local tour operators who can provide evidence of high-quality insurance cover.

II. Booking

You can book your private transfers, extra night hotel stay, private excursions or land program until 10 days before departure. We would like to point out that the availability on some services is limited. Therefore, we recommend that you book as soon as possible.

III. Payment

All prices will be available in the same currency of your cruise. For the payment we can only accept valid credit cards and the total amount is due immediately after confirmation. The booking guarantees a binding reservation of your booked modules. You will receive a separate confirmation of your booked services and land programs and hotel stay together with proof of payment by e-mail. We assume that the e-mail address you gave us when booking is correct and that you are aware of the risks of using this form of communication for your contracts. Same services booked on board will always be charged to your board account in USD. The trip registrant is the direct contractual partner for all registered persons with all rights and obligations for the co-registered trip participants.

IV. Cancellation/Rebooking

Rebooking can be made via your Reservation Agent up to 10 days before departure or start of booked land program.
The following cancellation fees apply:
- A USD 50/ EUR 50/ GBP 50/ CAD 50/ AUD 50/ NZD 50 administrative fee is assessed for all cancellations up to 120 days before cruise departure;
- For cancellations 119-60 days prior to departure: 15% of the price;
- For cancellations 59-30 days prior to departure: 75% of the price;
- For cancellations 29 days prior to departure: 100% of the price.

V. Changes in services

The safety of the participants and a smooth running of your booked service are the top priority for the local organizer. Therefore, the local organizers expressly reserve the right to change or substitute individual service even without prior notice.

SWAN HELLENIC accepts no liability whatsoever for the performance of the booked modules of services only arranged. Any disruption in performance or any damage or injury must be clarified exclusively with your direct contractual partner, the local organizer, and a complaint must be lodged with the latter. As an agent, SWAN HELLENIC expressly rejects any liability beyond the scope of an erroneous mediation in the agency relationship, irrespective of the legal grounds.

VI. Insurance coverage

The liability and accident insurance coverage of the local tour operators is in accordance with local legislation, the liability limits of which may differ significantly from known EU standards. We therefore strongly recommend to make use of the travel insurance coverage offered by our partner insurance companies and to book a complete protection package there in order to be protected in the best possible way abroad in case of an accident. VII. For your personal safety

Please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. Expensive jewelry or a valuable wristwatch should remain on board or better at home, as well as valuable camera or film equipment in accordance with the SWAN HELLENIC Cruises General Terms and Conditions and the General Conditions of Carriage. Please also follow the instructions of your local tour guide and avoid large gatherings of people or crowds. For your own safety, always carry a small amount of cash with you.

VIII. Unaccompanied youth

Special conditions apply depending on age: Up to the age of 18, participation is only possible in the company of an adult, who must be nominated by a legal guardian. Accompaniment/supervision cannot be provided by SWAN HELLENIC staff, the local tour guide or other guests.

XIX. Applicable Law

Your agency agreement concluded with SWAN HELLENIC Cruises for the booking of destination services is subject to Cyprus law. Your contracts with the respective local excursion operators, transport companies or hotels shall be governed by the applicable law as regulated by their own terms and conditions or, in the absence of such regulations, by the applicable law of the country in which the service is conducted.
